The Bacher Alm

The Bacher Alm is located at an altitude of 1,600 meters in Mühlbacher Talele.

It was newly built in 1956.
In June, we drive our cows up to the alpine pastures, where my parents lovingly care for the animals. As the mountain summer draws to a close, the traditional cattle drive down from the alpine pastures takes place, usually on the second weekend in September.

Our alpine pasture is about an hour's walk from our farm. Enjoy the breathtaking mountain scenery and the beautiful hiking trails in our picturesque Mühlbach Valley. On your hikes, you can also admire famous mountains such as the Große Windschar, the Fensterkofel, the Morgenkofel, the Geige, and many other impressive peaks.
In winter you can enjoy wonderful tobogganing and ski tours, and in summer the picturesque hiking trails invite you to take extended tours into the untouched nature.
